If they do, and they can at any time, get it in writing, get all the details on the paperwork and hire another agent. You could potentially put yourself out there to be responsible for a commission to your old realtor and a commission to your new realtor. As long as it’s done in writing, and you save the paperwork for a couple of years, you should have no problem obtaining another agent who is willing to address the tough questions, (Pricing), and who is willing to do the work to get it sold. I am a Keller Williams Agent. But we are not ALL alike. Communication is key. Straight talk is crucial. There are alot of agents that just take listings, then when it doesn’t sell, ask you to reduce your price. This sounds like doing whats best for the agent, and not what’s best for the client. We take an oath to do whats best for the our master, and to be the best servant we can be to our master. It’s better to have the uncomfortable talk with the seller, if its an honest talk, it most likely feels a bit uncomforatable. If you are a seller who does not trust the professional information presented at the listing. Use another agent that you can be comfortable with and who you feel is honest and trustworthy.
